Still behind closed doors, soon on the plate! Together with our young team, we are currently developing the culinary concept for Restaurant Schlüssel. Our vision includes dishes that are reduced, simple, puristic - and yet, or precisely because of this, challenge and delight all your taste buds. From June 8, you can find out what these creations look and taste like.

Martin and Sven are in the kitchen at Restaurant Schlüssel. Two old gastronomic hands in years, but as curious and hungry as on the first day! The duo translate Lucerne traditions into a modern language and prefer to write their culinary poems using local ingredients. Jasmin and her team round off your Schlüssel experience with expert, attentive and charming service.
At Restaurant Schlüssel, enjoyment extends over several doorsteps and floors: we serve our creations in the restaurant as well as in the Zofinger-Stube on the first floor and in the Borromäus hall on the second floor. There is a lot to discover in the Borromäus hall, where traces of the past are best preserved. Incidentally, some "celebrities" have already sat at the tables in the Schlüssel. These include the Archbishop of Milan Charles Borromeo, the Swiss Nobel Prize winner for literature Carl Spitteler and the papal nuncio Giovanni Battista Santonio.
Since 1985, the Hotel and Restaurant Schlüssel has been the home of the Zofingia Lucernensis, the Lucerne section of the Swiss Zofinger Association. The building is now also owned by the Zofinger association. The red and white coat of arms with the typical compass hangs at the entrance to the Schlüssel. In the Schlüssel restaurant, the Zofinger-Stube and a regulars' table with all the members' pub names are reminders of the ownership. The perfect setting to cultivate friendships and celebrate life connections!
