The Hotel and Restaurant Schlüssel is the third joint business run by tenants Manuel Berger and Walter "Willy" Willimann. The hotel on Franziskanerplatz in Lucerne's Old Town perfectly complements Hotel Beau Séjour and Villa Maria with its history and size. All three boutique hotels are managed by director Ferry Wey (center).
The Lucerne Hotel Beau Séjour has 27 beautiful and unique rooms, furnished with wild wallpaper, contemporary art by Nina Staehli and furniture by designer Daniel Hunziker. Guests have been enjoying the best views here since 1875: the glistening Lake Lucerne is just a few steps away from the Beau Séjour, and the Rigi and Pilatus mountains are also within sight. The hotel's motto is "true love" – to be understood both literally and metaphorically.
Villa Maria is also located on the shores of Lake Lucerne, very close to the Beau Séjour. The house, which dates back to 1950, was renovated in 2022 and has shone in new splendor ever since. Nina Staehli and Daniel Hunziker designed the eight hotel rooms of the Villa Maria and everything around it; the claim "la grande bellezza" sums up the overall artistic concept. Guests check in and out of the Villa Maria independently, while the Beau Séjour team is on hand to help with any questions. Breakfast is also served here for Villa Maria guests.
Culinary highlights can be experienced in the Drei Könige restaurant, in which tenant Manuel Berger is also involved. The kitchen team believes in the importance of seasonality and regionalism; the atmosphere is charming and simple; the service is friendly and wram. In addition, host Stefan Kaufmann's knowledge of wine is always impressive.
What could be nicer than sitting at a table with attentive people and enjoying dishes prepared with love? Of course, this is also possible with our extended restaurant family. For example, at Restaurant Magdi in Eisengasse and at Brassiere Bodu on Rathausplatz.
