Hotel Schlüssel
From June 4, 2024, we will welcome you to the gently renovated Hotel Schlüssel. Ten carefully furnished hotel rooms are available for you to retreat to and let your impressions of the beautiful city of Lucerne sink in. Between art by Nina Staehli and furniture by Daniel Hunziker, you will find peace and new strength. A restrained atmosphere, purist and minimalist, awaits you in the rooms.
You check in and out of Hotel Schlüssel independently. You will receive all information in advance by e-mail. Of course you can reach us during your stay.
Restaurant Schlüssel
On June 8, 2024, we will also open our restaurant with the historic Borromäus Hall. All in all, we can accommodate around 70 guests. During the convivial get-together with your fellow diners, we serve you honest, straightforward and tasty dishes. We love local ingredients, which we find at the bustling weekly market next door, among other places.
Our Restaurant Schlüssel is open from Tuesday evening to Saturday evening. We serve a varied lunch menu from Wednesday to Friday.
In the best of company
Hotel Schlüssel is located in the heart of Lucerne's Old Town, next to St. Mary's Church - better known as the Franciscan Church - which was built between 1270 and 1280. Other sights such as the world-famous Kappell Bridge and the impressive Jesuit Church are also within walking distance of the hotel. There are also numerous cafés and restaurants nearby, where hotel guests can enjoy a coffee and a croissant in the morning.
familia supra omnia
The people behind the Schlüssel live and work according to a fundamental conviction that has been immortalized in the hotel's claim: familia supra omnia - family above all else. What we do, we do in and with a large, strong community. Be it our biological family or a chosen family. This includes employees, friends, partners and of course you, our valued hotel and restaurant guests.
The Hotel Beau Séjour and the Villa Maria are also part of our family. Both are located on Haldenstrasse, just a few steps away from Lake Lucerne.
