There is no reception at Hotel Schlüssel – guests check in and out on their own. If you have any questions, the team at our partner hotel Beau Séjour is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (CET) by email and telephone. The team at our restaurant is also available during opening hours. You may also find your answer in our Assistance Center.

Directions

Arrival by car

Lucerne is considered by many to be the most charming city in Switzerland and is located in the center of the country. The city can be easily reached via the A2 highway (Basel - Gotthard - Milan route). If you are coming from the north, we recommend taking the "Luzern Zentrum" exit, whereas the "Luzern Süd" exit is ideal if you are coming from the south. Once you arrive in Lucerne, follow the signs to Hotel Schlüssel. Below you will find further information on the parking situation.

Arrival by public transport

You can easily reach the Schlüssel on foot from Lucerne train station, which takes around 10 minutes, and stroll along the Reuss, past the Kappellbrücke bridge, the Lucerne Theater and the Jesuit Church. Alternatively, you can use the bus stops "Hirzenhof" and "Pilatusplatz", where numerous bus lines stop. With your booking confirmation, you can use the entire transport network of zone 10 (Lucerne city center) free of charge. In general, public transport in Switzerland is characterized by an excellent infrastructure, outstanding organization and high punctuality.

Parking lots

Hotel Schlüssel is located in Lucerne's historic Old Town. The hotel has no parking spots. You can only park in front of the Hotel Schlüssel to unload your luggage. You can reserve a municipal parking permit for CHF 20 per day in advance. As soon as you've parked your car, let us know your license plate number and the type of car. We will be happy to take care of everything else for you. You can then park in any public parking lot in the city of Lucerne day and night during your hotel stay.
