General Terms and Conditions Hotel
The GTC apply to all reservation inquiries and reservations for Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH. In the following GTC, Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH is referred to by its legally valid name Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH.
Our prices
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) incl. VAT. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in is possible from 3pm on the first day of the booked stay. The key card is handed over in a self-check-in process. Check-out takes place on the last day of the booked stay at 11am at the latest.
Cancellation conditions
Cancellation of the reservation, reduction of the number of guests or the length of stay must be made in writing. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
Individual bookings
Cancellation free of charge up to 3 days before the day of arrival (3 pm). After that 100% of the booking price will be charged.
Bookings of 5 rooms or more
- Cancellation free of charge up to 14 days before the booked arrival date.
- 50% of the booking price if canceled 14 - 8 days before the booked arrival date.
- 100% of the booking price if canceled 7 or less days before the booked arrival date.
- 50% of the total cost of the stay is due and payable 7 days before the booked arrival date.
Provision of accommodation
Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH is obliged to provide the reserved accommodation for the booked period. If Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH is unable to provide the reserved accommodation on the guest's arrival, it will organize equivalent replacement accommodation and pay for any additional costs such as transport, accommodation, etc. that exceed the original contractual prices.
Number of guests
Only as many people may stay in an accommodation as contractually agreed.
Use and subletting
The guest uses the accommodation exclusively for private purposes. In the event of improper use and furnishing, Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH may assert liability claims. Subletting is not permitted.

Cleaning and laundry
The accommodation receives a daily fresh-up cleaning.
For longer stays, the bed linen and towels are changed every 7 days.

Breakfast is not offered. A selection of cafés and bakeries in the area can be found on our website.
Snacks and drinks in the room
Snacks and drinks in the room are free of charge.
Consumables
Basic consumables such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo etc. are provided.
Furnishings and fittings
Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH is the owner of all the furniture and furnishings in the rooms and suites.
Items brought in
Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH accepts no liability for theft, damage or loss of any furniture, objects, valuables, clothing, etc. brought in by the guest. A hotel safe is available.
Liability
The guest is liable for any damage caused by the guest or third parties during the stay. The repair or replacement costs will be charged in full including coordination costs (CHF 120 / hour).
House rules
The house rules are binding and all accommodation is strictly non-smoking. In the event of breaches of the house rules, Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH may withdraw from the contract prematurely without refunding any costs already paid.
Loss of key card
If a key card is lost, the guest must pay the full replacement costs.
Data protection
For Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH, the protection of guests' privacy has absolute priority. Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH may collect, process and use personal data insofar as this is necessary for the smooth running of operations. All data will only be stored and transmitted to the extent necessary. The guest agrees to this.
Pets are not allowed
Pets of any kind are not permitted.
Severability clause
Should individual provisions of the General Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The parties shall then endeavor to find a permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the intended provision.
Changes and additions to the general terms and conditions
Changes or additions to the General Terms and Conditions may be made at any time and without prior notice.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
This contract shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law. The parties agree that the exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Lucerne / Switzerland.

The GTC apply to all reservation inquiries and reservations for Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH.
Conditions for individual reservations
Our general terms and conditions are the basis for a successful relationship with our guests. By confirming your reservation/order by e-mail or via the website, you agree to the GTC of the Restaurant im Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH.
Reservations
Reservations (by e-mail or via our website) for events are only legally binding if they are made by guests of legal age who are capable of acting. By clicking on Reserve on our website or confirming your e-mail, you enter into a binding contract with Hotel Schlüssel Luzern GmbH.
Prices and payment
All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) only and include 8.1% VAT. All amounts are due in full; discounts and cash discounts are not granted. We accept payments by credit card, debit card or in cash on the day of the event. In exceptional cases, we will only send an invoice after the event.
No Show
Your booking or contract is binding regardless of the number of guests. For no-show guests, a flat rate of CHF 100 per guest will be charged to the credit card on file or on the day of the visit of the other guests.
Conditions for group reservations
Basis
The signed order confirmation serves as the basis.
Number of persons
Guests undertake to inform us of the binding number of persons at least 48 hours before the start of the event. This number of persons is the basis for invoicing. Any arrangements deviating from this must be agreed and confirmed by us in writing.
Events with extension
For events that last longer than the official opening hours, we charge a basic administrative fee of CHF 200 in addition to the official costs.
Hourly rates / overtime
For events that last longer than the official opening hours, we charge a flat rate of CHF 200 per hour or part thereof.
Terms of payment
The invoice must be paid 15 days after the invoice date. For larger events, we reserve the right to request a deposit of 50% of the final amount. The correct billing address must be communicated before the event.
Cancellations
If you cancel less than 10 days before the event, we will charge 50% of the offer. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event will be charged at 100% of the anticipated services.
Decorations
Decorations are not included in the banquet costs. Decorations brought along can only be delivered on the day of the event itself and must be collected before 11.00 a.m. the next day. Decorations that are not collected will be disposed of at the organizer's expense.
Damage / Liability
The organizer is liable in any case for all damage caused to rooms, facilities, furniture and surroundings. Hotel Schlüssel accepts no liability for items brought onto the premises in the event of loss or damage.
Cleaning / Waste
If special cleaning and additional garbage collections are required due to exceptional soiling, the organizer will be charged for the additional costs.
